The Original Ninfa's Uptown recently launched a new Happy Hour menu, featuring specialty bar bites from Executive Chef Alex Padilla and cocktails from Beverage Consultant Linda Salinas. Specials are available from 3-6 p.m. in the bar and patio areas. Highlights from Padilla, who also oversees the kitchen at the James Beard Award-nominated Original Ninfa's on Navigation, include Pulpo a la Leña (wood-grilled octopus, Spanish chorizo, salsa verde), Taquitos de Barbacoa con Consommé (slow-roasted lamb taquitos with a rich bone broth for ‘French Dipping’) and Ninfa’s ‘World Famous’ Fajita Burger Sliders (manchego cheese, grilled onions, spicy harissa-chipotle mayo) -- all priced at $8. Drink specials include $4 Mexican craft beers, $7 wines and Sangria and $7 margaritas and cocktails.

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations | 4310 Westheimer Rd.

Recently named 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America and Top 50 Whiskey Bars in the U.S. by Yelp, Bosscat Kitchen & Libations continues to keep things fresh and innovative with new menu items, cocktails and great Happy Hour offerings. Happy hour runs from 3-6 p.m. Monday-Friday with $5 Texas draft beers, house wines and well drinks. The famed Houston steakhouse needs no introduction. All their beef comes from a single packer in the Midwest, allowing them to retain tight quality control. They butcher and dry age in-house for a minimum of 28 days. Pappas Bros.
